New Primary School in Taman Tunku, Miri. SJK (C) Chiaw Nan, formerly located in Marudi, has been relocated to Taman Tunku, Miri, Sarawak. This move aims to better serve the residents in the vicinity.
The school’s relocation to Miri is expected to facilitate its opening in June. Situated in Taman Tunku and spanning across 10 acres, the construction of the new Chiaw Nan School commenced in October 2022.
The initial phase of the project required approximately RM8.5 million in funding, with a remaining deficit of RM1.5 million. Currently, the school comprises 14 classrooms, including kindergarten and grades one to three, accommodating over 100 students.
