Eco-Shop, a popular retail chain, Malaysia Latgest Dollar Store is going public on the Malaysian stock exchange.
The company plans to issue 862.15 million shares, representing 15% of its expanded share capital. This includes 347 million new shares and 515.15 million shares from existing shareholders. The price is yet to be decided.
Eco-Shop aims to raise funds through its IPO to expand its store network, improve logistics, and build facilities in Selangor, Sabah, and Sarawak. It also plans to upgrade its digital systems and mobile app.
In 2024, Eco-Shop’s net profit rose to RM177.28 million, with revenue reaching RM2.4 billion.
Established in 2006, Eco-Shop focuses on groceries, wholesale (rice, oil, sugar), and delivery services. Maybank Investment Bank is the lead advisor for the IPO.
