Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen, a popular Japanese ramen, is now available in an instant pack at Everrise Bintang Megamall Miri.
Going to Japan is on my bucket list, and visiting this ramen shop will undoubtedly be on it when I arrive.
Don’t be fooled by the small container when it arrives; the noodles expand to a full serving size once cooked, and the broth is the true star of the show, packing a punch!
To get the true flavour experience, cook some charsiu pork (check out YouTube for instructions, it’s not as difficult as it appears), soft boiled eggs, and sliced scallions to go with it.
I never put a full spice packet in the soup(I love spice and heat but I can see a pull packet of it overpowering the delicious broth and you definitely don’t want that).
It is INCREDIBLY close to Japanese Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen and that makes it good enough to be the best at home instant ramen I’ve ever had without going to Japan.
