Malaysia Airports to Be Delisted After 26 Years on the Stock Market.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (AIRPORT, 5014, Main Board Transportation & Logistics) has officially submitted an application for delisting from Bursa Malaysia.

Listed since 1999, Malaysia Airports has been on the stock market for 26 years.

The company announced that its privatization process is nearing completion, with the GDA consortium—led by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Khazanah Nasional—now holding 1.64645 billion shares, representing 98.68% of the company’s total shares.

With the takeover offer period ending (February 12), Bursa Malaysia will suspend the trading of Malaysia Airports’ shares five trading days later, starting February 20. Meanwhile, the company has officially submitted its delisting application to the stock exchange.
