After checking for a few place to have steamboat at night, we decided to have our dinner at a Taiwanese restaurant, called Passion Corner Miri (梦竹林) before driving back home.
The restaurant name in Chinese means “Bamboo Forest”. We entered the restaurant and found that the interior was decorated with bamboo wallpapers making us feel like having dinner inside a bamboo trees forest, so impressive!
The 2nd floor and the restaurant was just like a Japanese restaurant, with cubicle style seating places where you will need to take off your shoes before entering.
This restaurant serves variety of Chinese food. As much as you can enjoy different kind of steamboat or having shabu shabu dining style experience, this is the right place for group gathering. Free WIFI is available, just get the password from the counter. Choose the vegetables and sauce flavours of your choice with the type of meat you like to suite your appetite.
