Sarawak to Experience Heavy Rain Until the 31st

As Chinese New Year begins, relentless rain continues to batter Sarawak, leading to flooding in several low-lying areas.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a warning, predicting ongoing heavy rain and strong winds until the 31st.

Miri and Bintulu saw the most intense downpours yesterday, with many areas submerged in floodwaters. Today, Kuching and Sibu have also been placed under a red alert.

Red symbolizes luck during the New Year, but hopefully, it won’t dominate the weather forecast. Stay safe and enjoy the celebrations!
